Welcome to the website for the 25th Stabilizing Indigenous Languages Symposium (SILS2018).

In recognition of their 25 years of investing in indigenous languages, SILS2018 is jointly organized by the Peigan Board of Education/Piikani Nation and the University of Lethbridge. It will be held in traditional Blackfoot territory at Nato’ohkotok (Medicine Rock), the University of Lethbridge. Stabilizing Indigenous Languages Symposium is the oldest and largest gathering of Indigenous Language stakeholders in North America.

The Call for Presentations is now CLOSED and we can no longer accept more presentations.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ATTENDEES AND PRESENTERS MUST REGISTER AND PAY FOR THE SYMPOSIUM.
