Welcome to the website for the 25th Stabilizing Indigenous Languages Symposium (SILS2018).

In recognition of their 25 years of investing in indigenous languages, SILS2018 is jointly organized by the Peigan Board of Education/Piikani Nation and the University of Lethbridge. It will be held in traditional Blackfoot territory at Nato’ohkotok (Medicine Rock), the University of Lethbridge. Stabilizing Indigenous Languages Symposium is the oldest and largest gathering of Indigenous Language stakeholders in North America.

The Call for Presentations is now officially CLOSED, but please email info@sils2018.ca if you would still like to be considered for a presentation.

If you are registering a group or need to pay by cheque please do not use the online registration system but contact the Conference and Event Services front desk at cnf@uleth.ca or call 403-329-2244.
